Information We Collect

Website Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact and Quote Forms

When you submit a contact or quote request form on our website, we may collect your name, phone number (including mobile phone number), email address, zip code, and the nature of the service you are requesting. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

SMS Text Message Communications

Alligator Pools operates an SMS messaging program used to communicate with customers and prospective customers regarding pool services, appointments, account activity, and optional promotions. Participation in our SMS program is voluntary and users may opt out at any time.

Types of Messages We Send

Alligator Pools may send SMS text messages to customers and prospective customers for the following purposes:
  • Appointment confirmations, reminders, and scheduling updates
  • Service visit notifications and status updates
  • Estimates, invoices, and account-related information
  • Responses to service requests or inquiries you have submitted
  • One-time security PINs for account login verification

Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile carrier plan. Alligator Pools does not charge you for SMS messages we send; any fees are assessed by your wireless carrier. If you have questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless carrier.

How to Opt Out of SMS Messages

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from us at any time using any of the following methods:
  • Reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. After we receive your STOP request, we will send a one-time confirmation message and you will receive no further SMS messages from us unless you re-subscribe.
  • Call us at 305-255-7946 and ask to be removed from our SMS list.
  • Email us at sales@alligatorpools.com with your request to opt out.
Opt-out keywords we honor include STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, and END.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse. We store SMS consent records securely and do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We maintain records of SMS consent, including the date, time, and method by which consent was obtained, in accordance with applicable laws including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
